Hallo guys,
i have been searching for a kitebuilding forum since some days since it came to my mind, that i want to build a foil kite (my 8m was stolen one month ago, and in current i have not the money for buying the samge again-- school....)
So, before i really read throug all the technics of sewing and so on i wanted to check whether i can copy a kite detailed as possible.
And here it is the question: I want to rebuild a PS4 6qm for the beginning, because i know that the shape works really good and its senselles to build from zero for at first time)

So i tried, Foilmaker, Surfplan, and ended at FW design, what is really the best programm.

But: I cant get in the exactly datas. I tried two solution processes, one with the area and one with the wingspan. But every time, some of the dates get changed bei FWdesign itself. Here it is what i achieved up to now.
Oups, i can´t upload fwd files, than here is a picture of the kite i snip together out of a service picture.

And here what i want to build accurately as possible:
Datas: Flat area 6,00m. Wingspann 4,99 m , Center chord 123 cm. Tip chord 62 cm, Cells 29, position of Tip form center 85 cm. curvature of LE: i have to look how i can take it with numbers.. % or so on

Tip End of the Trailing Edge (if i can ajust this parameter) 25 cm.

The only thing i need furthermore is the profile, at that point i have to look what i could take. because i cant scale it at the original really good (i have the 12m PS4 here)

Canopy, i planed to use the same Bridle as the original so i will get the same canopy shape...

I know thats mutch stuff, but maybe somebody has a look in this forum and has a idea howi can achieve my aim.

Greetings,
Clemens

P.s. sorry for possibly mistakes

Aruba is one of the few places around the world where you can kite all year around without a wet suit. Constant trade winds, gusty winds, on-shore, side-shore, off shore, flat water, waves every wind and water condition in one island. Want to know more check www.xtremewinds.com and watch this video
put the connector in the center of that elbow... you can also put another 2 to play with settings if you like, one 5-6cm avove, the other the same below from center connector.
Hi,

my comments if I may, too thick tip LE, too much AoA, too thin tip struts,... seems like too much profile in tips...

BTW been riding for a bit more than one month on my new 2010 delta hybrid SLE design - move back to 4 struts (no middle) which ensures much better canopy shape in some cases than 3 strut setting.

I found out about kitewing just few days ago. Browsing the Internet a bit, I couldn't find any other manufactures of kite wing then from Finland. Actually 1.000 € for a wing seems to be too much for me. Do you know of any other wing manufacturers?

Are hand made, presented here, good enough to use them?
